Govt slams BNP as PM not let in
Sunday, 25 January 2015
The government on Saturday termed 'inhuman, discourteous and devoid of political etiquette' the refusal of BNP to allow Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to meet its chief Khaleda Zia. Addressing a crowded press briefing, PM's Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said the Prime Minister arrived at the BNP chairperson's Gulshan office ignoring all the protocol. "She (Hasina) arrived as the Prime Minister, leader and a mother to console another mother ignoring all the protocol," Iqbal Sobhan said. He also said the big thing was that Prime Minister knocked at Khaleda's door. — UNB
