Govt takes steps to ensure power for all : Pramanik

NAOGAON, Dec 26 (BSS): Textile and Jute Minister Md Emaj Uddin Pramanik said the government has taken steps to reach electricity to all for the development of the country.
"It is the government's priority programme to reach electricity to all because economic development is not possible without electricity," said the minister while speaking at a programme organised to give electricity connection to household users here yesterday.
The power connections have been given to 182 families in Bathil, Rampur, Nasrullabad and Barpoi in Manda upazila from 2.23-km transmission line installed newly.
