Govt to build cultural complex in north Dhaka: Noor

Cultural Affairs Minister Azaduzzaman Noor on Wednesday said the government has decided to build a cultural complex in the northern part of the capital Dhaka so that north city dwellers can get opportunities to involve in cultural activities more. ‘We are looking for a piece of land at Purbachal of northern part of the capital to build the cultural complex,’ he told journalists at a press briefing in Dhaka marking the biannual Asian Art Exhibition. He said all facilities will be available for the activists of different sections of art and culture in the complex. The facilities include exhibition hall, auditorium, drama stage and library, he said, according to BSS.
