Govt to establish varsity at dists

With a view to spreading education up to doorsteps of all, the government has a plan to establish university at every district across the country, reports BSS.
"Presently, there are in all 117 universities public and private sector in the country," Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid told the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Wednesday while replying to a question from treasury bench member Selina Jahan Lita.
Of the universities, 37 are public and 80 are private, the Minister informed the House.
