Govt to expand banking sector in S region

Prime Minister's Economic Affairs Adviser Dr Moshiur Rahman on Monday said the government has put especial emphasis on expanding banking sector in the southern part of the country to curb unemployment problems of the region. The adviser made the remark while inaugurating 26th branch of South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank Ltd as the chief guest in Satkhira, according to a news agency.
