Govt to form teacher recruitment commission

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Tuesday said the government is going to form a teacher recruitment commission, aiming to curb irregularities in recruitment to non-government educational institutions. The commission like the Public Service Commission (PSC) will appoint teachers as per demand to be placed by the educational institutions, he said.  “The government has already taken initiatives and is working to form the teacher recruitment commission,” the minister told the reporters while emerging from the DCs Conference held at the Cabinet Room of the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat, according to a news agency.
