Govt to procure power from Indian open market

The government will procure 30-50 MW power from the open market of India to meet the country’s power necessity. The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) on Wednesday approved the proposal for procuring power through bilateral deal. Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhit chaired the meeting held at the Cabinet Division, according to a news agency.
