'Govt trying to create food security sphere for world'

The government is trying to create a food security sphere along with increasing the production of food which will enable the country to make a contribution to the world in this regard.
Agriculture secretary Md Mesbahul Islam said this while addressing as the chief guest a reception and views-exchange meeting at the head office of the Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) in the city recently, says a statement.
The reception was accorded to the newly-joined agriculture secretary during his visit to the BADC headquarters after taking over his new charge.
