Govt turns monster to prolong one-party rule: BNP
Thursday, 3 July 2014
BNP on Thursday alleged that the government has taken the monster’s role to prolong its one-party rule by suppressing the opposition and different opinions. In a statement, BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “Being alienated from people, the current regime has taken the role of monster to make longer its one-party rule. Awami League is brutally subduing the opposition men as it doesn’t care about people’s hopes and aspirations forgetting about the bad consequences of misrule.” The statement was issued protesting the ‘terrorist attack’ on the house of Brahmanbaria’s Nabinagar upazila chairman and upazila BNP ex-president Engineer Shafiqul Islam on Wednesday night, according to a news agency.
