Govt urged to renovate clinics in B Baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Aug 11 (BSS): A total of eight community clinics are not functioning due to the negligence of the concerned authorities for the last four years.
The eight clinics were established in December, 2003 at different parts of Nasirnagar Upazila of the district.
Islami Bank gave the financial assistance in building the clinics in December, 2003. But the responsible authorities did not operate them properly. As a result, the clinics became non-functional.
Local people urged the government to reopen the community clinics for the greater interest of people of the upazila.
