Govt warns against use of Temset syrup

The government Thursday urged all individuals and organisations to destroy Temset paracetamol syrup of Rid Pharma, if they have any, as it is harmful to public health. "Stern legal actions would be taken, if the drug is found with any person or institution," an official handout said. The government earlier banned Temset syrup, manufactured by Rid Pharma Ltd of Brahmanbaria, as it was proved below standard and harmful. — BSS
