"We will run in the rest of the convicted killers. Where will they hide? The world is big and also too small. They have nowhere to hide," she said.
Sheikh Hasina was inaugurating an extended meeting of the Awami League's central body on the Ganobhaban premises in the city Saturday, reports UNB.
She said that the country got rid of the curse for the assassination of its founding father with the execution of the five condemned convicts.
She said her government would ensure the trial of all killings in Bangladesh one by one. "We will ensure trial of all killings, including war criminals, killers of four leaders and of BDR carnage."
The Prime Minister made it clear that she wouldn't tolerate any sort of killing on the soil of Bangladesh.
She informed the meet that her government would not allow militants to do any kind of their activities on this land.
The PM said that her government was working hard to ensure justice for all sections of people of the country.
She urged the party leaders to remain alert against all conspiracies that could disrupt the democratic process of the country.
"For economical development continuity of democracy is a must. You have to remain alert so that none are able to destroy the democracy of the country in future," she added.
Hasina said, "the next big task is now to create a congenial atmosphere in the country where the poor people could have a smile on their face."
She drew the conclusion that the opposition would continuously try to plot conspiracies against this government as "they were born in conspiracy".
The AL chief said that during the emergency period, there was move to cut out her from politics, and even from her life.
"But I am very much thankful to my party leaders and people of the country as they foiled the move."
Hasina thanked the almighty for saving her life several times. "Sometimes I think that Allah keeps me alive to bring the killers of Bangabandhu to justice and execute the judgment."
"This day is mixed with both happiness, and sorrow and pain. I want to share this mixed feelings with you."
The PM asked the grassroots party leaders to collect more activists, especially young and women, as the AL had launched a new-membership drive to shore up its following.
"We already have officially declared Rangpur as a division. I hope that the people of the new division would not search for Langol (plough-the election symbol of Jatiya Party), rather they would take to Nauka (boat-the symbol of AL)," she said.
Earlier, she placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
