Sunday, 13 July 2014

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu has said that the government has no plan to thwart any movement of BNP, but warned that no atrocities will be tolerated in the name of movement. ‘We have no problem if they (BNP) continue to take processions thousand times and continue to place their demand. However, no subversive activities will be tolerated in the name of movement,’ he said while talking to reporters before attending a discussion marking the World Population Day at Bheramara upazila auditorium in Kushtia. Inu said the government is not maintaining any strict position regarding democratic practices, election and political activities, but it is determined to ensure the continuation of the constitution and security, according to a news agency.
