Govt working to digitise country: AK Khandoker

Planning Minister Air Vice Marshal (Retd) AK Khandoker Saturday said the government is working relentlessly to build a digital Bangladesh to help rid the country of all problems, reports BSS. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a two-day centenary celebration of Dhobakhola High School under Bera Upazila in Pabna district, the minister said Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina is sincere to improve the education system of the country. The PM, he said, has formed a trust for the benefit of meritorious students. The minister said the fund provides financial help to the talented students intending to study abroad. Chaired by Prof Dr Nurul Alam, the function was addressed, among others, by Bera Upazila Chairman Azizur Rahman, Managing Director of National Academy for Education Management (NAEM) Professor Shamsur Rahman and Abul Kalam Azad, Abdus Samad Azad, Hafizur Rahman Khan, Pankaj Kumar, Abdul Quader and Awal Molla.
