'Govt working to ensure safe water for every citizen'

TANGAIL, June 19 (BSS): State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku has said the government is working to ensure safe and pure drinking water for all in urban and municipal areas across the country.
"Various infrastructure development projects are being implemented to improve people's living standards," he said.
Tuku was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a 680-cubic-meter capacity overhead water tank near the Eidgah field in Ward No. 6 of Tangail Municipality on Friday.
