Govt\\\'s main focus on education: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday said her government has given top priority to education to build an educated nation as no country could achieve desired development without education. “It’s not possible to be built a hunger-and poverty-free nation without establishing an educated nation,” she said. The Prime Minister was speaking after receiving the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations from Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at her official residence Ganobhaban. The examinations were held under the country’s 10 education boards. Greeting the students for their success in the examinations, Sheikh Hasina said the main goal of her government is to uplift the country’s socioeconomic condition through ensuring the basic rights of people, according to UNB.
