GP-BCB Academy Cup ends in draw

The 2nd four-day match of the GP-BCB Academy Cup between GP-BCB Academy team and South Africa National Cricket Academy team ended in a draw on the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra Saturday, reports UNB.
Chasing a target of 361 runs in the 2nd innings, the GP-BCB Academy team scored 231 for 8 to settle for a draw. Earlier, they scored 260 runs in the first innings.
The visiting South Africa side scored 222 runs in the first innings and 398 runs in the 2nd innings to give a challenging total for GP-BCB Academy team.
Shaker Ahmed of Bangladesh was adjudged man of the match for his five-wicket haul in the first innings while O Pienaar of South Africa named as player of the series.
The 1st four-day match between the two teams also ended in draw in Chittagong.
The first of the three-match one-day series between the two sides will be held Tuesday (May 4) at the same venue.
