Touring South Africa National Cricket Academy team suffered an innings and 125 runs defeat to hosts GP-BCB National Cricket Academy team on the fourth and last day's play in the 2nd four-dayer at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Monday, reports UNB.
Resuming their 2nd innings with overnight 141 for 8, the visitors were dismissed at 155 in 40.1 overs, adding just 14 more runs today.
Night watch batsman Hardous Viljoen scored 49 runs off 34 balls with seven fours and a six while another night watch batsman Merchant De Lange made 27 runs off 35 balls with three fours and two sixes.
Shaker Ahmed finished his spell with 15-2-73-5 while Sanjamul Islam, who took two wickets Sunday, completed his bowling quota with 14.1-5-45-4.He was adjudged the player of the match.
