GP clients to get reduced fee on SCB credit cards

Grameenphone Ltd (GP) has recently signed an agreement with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) to provide the GP 'xplore' subscribers 50 per cent discount on the annual fee for any new SCB credit card, including the interest-free 'Saadiq' card.
The GP 'xplore' subscribers can also enjoy the global usage privilege (GUP) of the SCB credit cards. Through GUP a SCB user may use his card both home and abroad. GUP-enabled SCB credit cards can be used at nearly 13 million SCB merchant outlets and more than 8.5 million ATM booths throughout the world.
Head of GP 'thankyou' programme and Additional General Manager Riaz M Zaman and SCB Senior Business Manager of Credit Cards and Consumer Banking Gitanka Datta signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
SCB Head of Cards Ahsan Afzal and Head of Sales (Cards, Mortgages and Auto) Kamran Sunjoy Rahman along with GP 'thankyou' programme Manager of Alliance Management Fahad Saleh and deputy managers Wasim Haider and Sohel Mahmud were also present on the occasion.
