GP repatriated Tk 11.29b till 2012

Country’s biggest cell phone operator Grameenphone (GP) has repatriated Tk 11.29 billion till 2012. Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui stated this in the Parliament, responding to a written question of AKM Mayeedul Islam (Kurigram-3). He also informed that Banglalink has repatriated Tk 10.22 billion during the same time. On the other hand, Airtel, Robi and Citycell have repatriated Tk 3.78 billion, Tk 120.29 million and Tk 50.95 million respectively till 2012, according to a news agency.
