Grameen Telecom MD, two lawyers face ACC quizzing

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday grilled a high official and two lawyers of Grameen Telecom over allegations of graft and irregularities.
Coming out of the interrogation session, Grameen Telecom managing director Nazmul Islam told the reporters that the information about graft allegations was misleadingly presented before the Commission.
However, commenting on the matter, ACC Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain said the investigation into the allegations against the Grameen Telecom is not intentional.
"The ACC has launched the investigation into the allegations against the company acting on specific evidence and verifying a report of a government agency," he said.
