Green Delta Ins mourns death of army personnel

Green Delta Insurance Company Limited (GDICL) paid rich tributes to the Army personnel and civilians who had been killed in the Pilkhana tragedy on February 25 last, said a press release.
A Milad Mahfil was arranged by GDICL after the Asr prayer at its head office in the city Sunday. The company prayed for peace of the departed souls and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved families.
The company also remembered Shuabur Rahman, a reinsurance expert and ex-executive director on his the 15th anniversary of death.
GDICL Managing Director and CEO Nasir A Chowdhury expressed his deep shock and termed the killing of Army officials at BDR headquarters as unwarranted, tragic and painful. He added that Shuab's death was an irreparable loss for the company and in the insurance industry.
