Green Delta Ins reelects chair, elects new vice chairmen

Kabir H Choudhury has been re-elected chairman and Farzana Chowdhury and A Farjad Ahmed have been elected vice-chairmen of the board of directors of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited.
The election was held at the 254th board meeting held in the city recently, said a press release.
Kabir H Choudhury, a sponsor director of the company, is the vice-chancellor of Metropolitan University, Sylhet. He was a visiting professor of the English department of Shahjalal University of Sylhet and was the first Bangladeshi Parliamentary (MP) candidate in British general election.
Farzana Chowdhury, one of the sponsor-directors of the company, is the senior vice-president and head of SME division, BRAC Bank Ltd and a director of Nascom (Pvt) Ltd.
She is also Bangladesh's national president of Junior Chamber International (JCI).
A Farjad Ahmed, a sponsor director of the company, is working as head of Credit Division at Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation
