Green Delta Ins settles insurance claim of Lafarge Surma

Green Delta Insurance Co Ltd has recently settled an insurance claim of Tk 338 million (Tk 33.8 crore) of Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd against a business interruption claim lodged by the company.
Nasir A Chowdhury, managing director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Co Ltd, handed over a cheque for Tk 16.5 million as the final payment against the claim on the insurance policy to Michael Andrew Cowell, managing director of Lafarge Surma Cement Ltd.
