GROUP study is becoming popular among students day by day. With the use of cell phone and email, this has been easier for students to communicate with each other, and today they can easily gather at one place. While group study helps students prepare their lessons within the shortest possible time and makes many concepts clear, it also helps them to grow other qualities in life. Students can become more patient, better speakers, tolerant about others' opinion, better team members, able to share jobs and so on.
When you are studying in a group, you let others speak and you also listen to their opinions. You become more patient. You become more tolerant to others' opinion. Being patient will help you in many ways during student life and your later life.
While in a group, you are bound to speak. When you will have taken part in many group studies, you will find you have become a better speaker. You are able to describe very difficult issues to others. A good speaker will definitely win in difficult situations in life.
In fact, when it comes to appearing for a job interview, the first thing usually that comes as a great help to you is your oratory power. May be you know many things, but if you cannot deliver your knowledge or ideas at the right time at the right place, you are sure to regret. It is only those who have spoken on some issues in the past, they can speak on those issues better.
Group study gives you team spirit. You learn how to work in a team. This becomes helpful in working life when you will find often you are working in a team. If you play an influential role in your group, it is most likely you will also be team leader in your professional life.
Group study helps students to get rid of fear of any subject. When you are studying alone at home, you may be afraid of any subject or issue of a subject. But when you start taking part in a discussion of a subject or of an issue, the fear goes away. Similarly, discussing a problem in your professional life will help you come out of critical situations.
Most importantly, through group study, you know how to share work and that is very important for success in both student and professional life.
If you do not have the mentality of studying in a group, it is likely you will remain an introvert and less communicative. You will miss the chance of becoming a leader!
