Grouping of Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League announced

The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) today (Saturday) announced the grouping of the 12-team Metropolis Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League for the 2009-2010 season, reports UNB.
Defending champions Dhaka Mohammedan SC has been placed in Group A while runners-up Gazi Tank Cricketers in Group B. The other teams of the two groups were decided by lottery.
Participating teams:
Group A - Dhaka Mohammedan SC, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Khelaghar SKS, Partex SC, BKSP and Victoria SC.
Group B - Gazi Tank Cricketers, DOHS SC, Kalabagan KC, Abahani Limited, Surjo Tarun Club and Cricket Coaching School.
Meanwhile, the inter-club players' transfer for the member of Bangladesh A team will be held Wednesday (Sept 16) from 12 noon to 5:pm at the CCDM office at Bangabandhu National Stadium. The second-string Bangladesh team will tour the Indian state of Maharashtra from Sept 26 to Oct 17.
