GSP Finance appoints new managing director

AH Ekbal Hossain has joined GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Ltd as managing director from June 1, said a press release.
Ekbal Hossain worked as managing director of BASIC Bank Ltd and Rupali Bank Ltd and as managing director (current charge), deputy managing director and general manager of Agrani Bank Ltd.
He started his career with the then United Bank (now Janata Bank) as probationary officer in 1968. He worked there as manager, assistant general manager and deputy general manager.
He obtained his Masters degree in Management from Dhaka University. He completed banking diploma and an associate of Institute of Bankers.
He obtained PhD from Portland University, Oregon, USA. He undertook training in macro and micro economics from Fisc University, Nashville, USA and Credit Analysis Course from City Bank International School of Banking, New York for six months under a World Bank project.
