GTCL earns over Tk 9.97b revenue in FY '19

The 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) was held at Meghbari Resort, Nagarvella, Ulukhola under Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur recently, says a statement.
Shareholders and directors of the company were present. The meeting was told that the GTCL earned more than Tk 9.97 billion (Tk 997.65 crore) revenue by transporting 24,786.54 million cubic metre gas and 249.59 million litre condensate in the last financial year.
The company earned over Tk 3.20 billion (Tk 320.89cr) as pre-tax profit and contributed to the national exchequer over Tk 7.48 billion (Tk 748.19cr) as principal loan, interest on loan, CD VAT & excise duty and income taxes during fiscal year 2018-2019 (FY '19).
