Tuesday, 11 November 2025

In another strong demonstration of financial reliability and customer commitment, Guardian Life Insurance Limited has disbursed Tk 3.85 billion in insurance claims by the third quarter of 2025, reaffirming its position as one of Bangladesh's most financially stable and trusted insurers.
The total includes payouts of Tk 2.18 billion in death claims, Tk 1.44 billion in health claims, and Tk 217.3 million under policy maturity and other settlements. Each settlement reflects Guardian's promise of standing beside customers and families when it matters most, says a press release.
"Claim settlement is not just a transaction -- it's the moment our promise becomes real," said Sheikh Rakibul Karim, FCA, Additional Managing Director and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Life. "We take immense pride in ensuring transparency, speed, and care in every claim we process. Our continuous investment in digital systems and governance reflects our commitment to reliability, efficiency, and customer trust."
Co-Founded on the shared values of BRAC, Apex, and Square, Guardian Life was built to redefine the insurance experience in Bangladesh through innovation, integrity, and inclusion. Today, the company covers approximately 13 million people, including employees of more than 500 local and multinational organizations, across retail, group, microinsurance, digital, and bancassurance channels.
Guardian Life also leads the way as the country's first and only 100 per cent cashless insurer, ensuring all premium collections and claim settlements are processed through secure digital and banking channels. This cashless model brings complete transparency, accountability, and convenience -- giving customers greater confidence and control over their financial transactions.
