GUB accords reception to Soumya

The Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) organised a warm reception for cricket star Soumya Sarkar for his outstanding performance in the recent World Cup and in the following one-day and Test series against Pakistan, said a press release.
The programme was held at the Green auditorium of the university Thursday organised by Green University Sports Club (GUSC). Vice Chancellor of GUB Prof Dr Md Golam Samdani Fakir handed over a crest to Soumya Sarkar as a token of recognition of his contribution.
Soumya Sarkar is a student of the Dept of Sociology and Anthropology at the university.
