Gulshan Youth Club beat Urban Sports by 115 runs

Gulshan Youth Club notched an emphatic 115-run victory over Urban Sports and Cultural Development in a match of the 5th National Women's Club Cricket League at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan (BKSP) Ground-4 in Savar Friday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Gulshan YC scored 140 runs for 4 wickets in reduced 18 overs.
Opener Mahmuda Khan scored 53 runs off 50 balls with six boundaries and was later adjudged player-of-the-match.
Skipper Farzana Haque (21), Nuzhat Tasnia (not out 18) and Ishma Tanjim (12) were the other notable scorers for Gulshan Youth Club.
Rekha Akter and Tasnova Tamanna took two wickets each for 22 and 30 runs respectively.
Chasing 141 runs to win, Urban SCD languished at 25 for 8 in 18 overs. Brishti Roy grabbed five wickets for 3 runs in her four overs spell.
The day's delayed match was reduced to 18 overs instead of 40 overs following heavy shower in the morning.
In the day's other matches, Khelaghar Samaj Kalyan Sangha beat Indira Road Krira Chakra by 88 runs at BKSP ground-3 while Jahurul Islam City Cricket Club won by 9 wickets against Dipali Jubo Sangha under D/L method at Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.

Batting first, Khelaghar SKS posted 126 for 1 in 18 overs.
Opener Sanjida Islam scored unbeaten 60 runs off 57 balls with eight fours and was later adjudged player-of-the-match. Asfiya Alam scored 24 runs and skipper Ritu Moni added unbeaten 16 runs.
Fatema Sultana took the solitary wicket for 19 runs.
Chasing 127 runs, Indira Road KC could manage only 38 runs for 8 wickets in 18 overs.
Farhana Sultana (14) and skipper Murshida Naznin (12) were the only double digit scorers.
Taslima Shimu, Shoheli Akther and Tripti Mondal took two wickets each for 5, 9 and 9 runs respectively.

Batting first after winning the toss, Dipali JS scored 54 runs for 4 wickets in the reduced 16-overs-a-side a match with opener Nupur (20) being the only double digit scorer.
Jhumur captured 4 wickets for 15 runs in her 4 overs spell.
She is adjudged player-of-the-match.
Chasing 72 runs for win as per D/L method, Jahurul Islam CCC reached the target scoring 74 runs for 1 in 11.3 overs.
Shaila Sharmin and skipper Sarmin Akter Supta both scored unbeaten 34 and 25 runs respectively. Nigar Sultana took the only wicket for 18 runs.
