'Gunfight' kills forest robber in Sundarbans

BAGERHAT, Jan 09 (UNB): A suspected forest robber was killed in a reported gunfight with river police in the Katiarkhal area of Sarankhola upazila in Sundarbans East Zone early Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Farid (30), a resident of Bouddhomari village of Mongla upazila and a member of notorious forest robber gang 'Chhoto Bahini'.
