Habiganj court orders Kibria murder charge sheet resubmission

Habiganj court has ordered the resubmission of a supplementary charge sheet in former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria's murder case, as the previous one got the names and addresses of several accused wrong.
The court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Rokeya Aktar Wednesday ordered Sylhet’s Assistant Superintendent of Police Meherun Nesa Parul to submit a new chargesheet on Dec 21.
Parul, who was asked to investigate the case in 2012, had pleaded for time for correction and resubmission.
Local BNP supporters had demonstrated in the court, alleging that Habiganj Municipal Mayor and the party's district unit general secretary Golam Kibria Gaus had been falsely implicated as a part of a 'conspiracy', according to a news agency.
