Haji Mohsin College riddled with problems

Our Correspondent JOYPURHAT, Dec 15: Mahipur Haji Mohsin Govt College of Panchbibi in Joypurhat has been facing shortage of teachers, classrooms and residence problem for a long time. These problems are hampering normal education system in the college. Established in 1969 by Moulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani and nationalized in 1982 it has been running with 5 honours and degree courses. Although these courses were opened, but the course teachers are not available in the college. According to the teachers pattern of National University, 47 teachers post with Principle and Vice Principle but only 18 posts have been provided. Besides shortage of these posts two academic buildings out of three for remain unused long time. Shortage of class room is another main problem in the campus. For 3500 students, only an old bus is running where the all students are to suffer for the bus.
