Haji Selim unhappy for not being allowed to receive PM

Independent MP Haji Mohammad Selim voiced his strong resentment in Parliament Sunday for not being allowed to receive and welcome the Prime Minister at his constituency Friday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Friday evening inaugurated the country’s first ‘light and sound show’ at Lalbagh Fort in the capital, aiming to attract more local and foreign tourists, and Haji Selim is the MP of that area.
Haji Selim said that the Prime Minister of a country is not merely the Prime Minister of a particular political party. “The Prime Minister is for all, and as the local MP, I have the right to receive and welcome her when she comes to my constituency”, according to a news agency.
