Hajj primary registration to begin on September 1

The primary registration for the 2025-Hajj will begin on September 1 and continue until November 30 under government and private management, reports UNB.
The deadline for the registration will not be extended after the primary registration this year, said a media release from the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Sunday.
Anyone who has registered previously can complete the primary registration by depositing Tk 0.3 million. The remaining amount of the Hajj package must be paid within the specified time frame.
The price of this year's Hajj package will be announced based on the Saudi phase cost and airfare. Efforts will be made to reduce the overall Hajj package price for 2025 compared to last year.
The pre-registration fee for government and private management is set at Tk 30,000. The quota for Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh in 2025 is 127,198.
Individuals interested in performing Hajj through the government channel can pre-register and complete the primary registration at various locations, including union digital centres, divisional and district offices of the Islamic Foundation, Baitul Mukarram Mosque, and the Hajj Office in Dhaka through the e-Hajj System (www.hajj.gov.bd) and e-Hajj BD mobile application.
