Half-day hartal in Tala Tuesday

SATKHIRA: Local Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Monday called a half-day hartal in Tala upazila for Tuesday protesting the killing of its leader in a gunfight with joint forces members.The shutdown will remain in force from 6.00am till 2.00 pm.
Anisur Rahman Anis, general secretary of the upazila unit JCD, announced the hartal after the namaz-e-janaza of Azharul Islam on Islamkati union parishda premises in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
