Hamid, Hasina, Inu, Khaleda hail Tigers

President Md Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia greeted Bangladesh cricket team for their ODI series win over India. In a message, the President Abdul Hamid President congratulated the national cricket team for their series victory against visiting India by winning the second ODI by 6 wickets at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur on Sunday night. Hamid extended his buoyant thanks to all members of the cricket team, coach, manager and cricket board officials for this success. He hoped that the Bangladesh would maintain this trend of success in the next matches.
In her message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina extended her heartiest felicitations to the cricket team for clinching the ODI series against India. Hasina, an avid cricket fan, thanked players, team manager, coach and Bangladesh Cricket Board officials for this outstanding success. She said Bangladesh's cricket has been placed in a dignified position in the world thanks to maximum sincerity of the government for the development of the game and earnest efforts of the players. She hoped that the national team would continue the trend of victory in future.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, greeted the Bangladesh team, coach and all officials for their historic series victory against two times Cricket World Cup champions India. He wished the Bangladesh team well and hoped that they would continue their winning streak in future and bring more laurels for the country.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia congratulated the Bangladesh team for their maiden series win against India at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. In a message, the former prime minister said: “I congratulate all the players, the coach, officials and all concerned of the Bangladesh National Cricket team on their outstanding success. I feel proud of our cricketers like the cricket-loving people of the country who are overwhelmed and delighted over this wonderful
success of the team.” The BNP chief also greeted the Bangladeshi spectators who encouraged the Tigers to clinch the ODI series against two-time World champions by their superb support to them. She hoped that the Tigers will be able to continue their success in the days to come through their regular exercise and training, report agencies.
