Handicraft makers get new president

The Bangladesh Handicraft Manufacturers and Exporters Association has got a new committee with Salim Uddin Haider as its president. Fawzia Amin Nina has been elected senior vice-president while Maj (retd) Kamrul Islam vice-president and Md Jul Hossain Jani treasurer.
They were elected for a period of two years through polling held on September 18 at the Business Promotion Council (BPC) office of the Bangladesh Forest Industry Development Corporation building in Motijheel area. The candidates who got elected as directors are Salim Uddin Haider, Ashrafur Rahman and Fauzia Amin Nina from Sammanay Parishad.
Tofazzal Hossain, Maj (retd) Kamrul Islam, Md Rafiqul Islam Salim, Piyush Bhadra, Nasima Akhter, Eliza Parveen, Md Abul Kalam Azad and Md Jool Hossain Johnny, Ghulam Ehsan, Sanaul Haque Babul, Mia Faisal Hasan, Mohammad Abu Kaushar, Dolan Chandra Das, Shoheli Nazneen (Ruba) and Nasreen Akhter Milla won from the combined forum.
