Hanging body of housewife recovered

JHENIDAH, Sept 28 (UNB): Police recovered hanging body of a housewife in Maheshpur upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Ayesha Khatun alias Bipa Debanath, 25, daughter of Nilkamal Debnath, hailing from Chamuria village in Kalihati upazila of Tangail district.
Police said Bipa and Towhidul Islam, a resident of Sherpur upazila in Bogra district, got married one year back. A few days later, Towhidul, an employee of a local clinic, started torturing Ayesha psychically and mentally. However, neighbors informed police on Saturday morning after seeing the hanging body of Ayesha.
