Saturday, 24 May 2014

Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif has trashed BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s warning that the situation may go out of control if fresh election is delayed. “The government is not afraid of Khaleda Zia’s warning as it knows about the strength of BNP’s movement,” he said on Saturday hours after the BNP leader’s remarks. He said “BNP is issuing one ultimatum after another, but nothing has come out of it. BNP has no organisational strengthen to wage any movement.” Hanif was talking to journalists at his office at TCB Bhaban at Karwan Bazar, according to a news agency.
