Hannan Shah arrested again

Outspoken BNP leader ASM Hannan Shah was again arrested Wednesday night from his Mahakhali New DOHS house in connection with an extortion case.
The case was filed with Kapasia police station in 2006.
His son Reza told UNB that police arrested him at about 8:50pm and took him to Gazipur, his home district.
Shah, who was earlier arrested on November 7 last year on charge of breaking the Emergency Power Rules, was released from jail in Narayanganj only a day before (Tuesday) after several failed bids for his bailout.
