Haor problems to be resolved

State Minister for Finance MA Mannan said Sunday the government will resolve the problems of Haor areas the way it dealt with in the monga-prone area.
He made the remarks while addressing a seminar titled ‘Agricultural Modernisation Initiative for Haor Region: Review & Implementation’ organised by Haor Campaign Group with the help of Oxfam Bangladesh at Dhaka Reporters Unity in the city, according to a news agency.
Observing that there have been significant changes in the communication system of Haor areas in the last couple of years, he said this advancement will accelerate the development of agricultural sector.
