Hard time for middle and lower-middle classes

Wednesday, 7 September 2022

There is no denying that our country is progressing. Most of the people of our country live in villages. Barely 25-30 years ago, the country's image was fragile. At that time, many people in villages could not manage two square meals, some not even one. The picture changed for the better in the past two decades. The people of the country did not have to starve before pandemic.
But of late, the conditions of the middle class and the class below it have turned worse suddenly. It is mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The salaries of many people are not increasing. Many offices have reduced salaries and wages. These people can ask neither the help from others nor the government. They can't even buy TCB products. So, they are struggling to maintain their families. The government should do something for these classes of people. Introduction of the rationing system for them can be of help.
