Harmful effects of texting
Thursday, 28 July 2022
Text messages have become an essential part of our life. These messages are now frequently used for personal, professional and social purposes. Teenagers, in particular, are always engaged with their phones and texting to their peers at any time of the day. Students between the ages of 14 and 21 reportedly prefer texting to calling.
According to experts, addiction to these gadgets is only a small side effect, while there are more other severe consequences of texting continuously. Texting has various psychological, neurological and physical health consequences. It does a lot more to your body than you realise because the ill effects do not present any symptoms instantly. Any stress caused by text messages is harmful for health. Sometimes, when the situation is tense, there can be better ways of communicating. Although nothing can beat the charm of a face-to-face interaction, even a video call can save the day.
