Harnessing AI for strategic management

Saturday, 30 March 2024

BRAC one of the largest global development organisations, has embraced artificial intelligence (AI) to improve its strategic management practices. It has improved its decision-making processes, optimised resource allocation, and amplified its impact on poverty alleviation efforts using AI tools and techniques.
AI can analyse vast amounts of data quickly and efficiently enabling data-driven decision-making across various domains. AI algorithms provide for valuable insights that inform strategic planning and programme implementation, from identifying emerging trends and patterns to predicting future challenges.
Moreover, AI-driven analytics have enabled BRAC to personalise interventions and services to meet the diverse needs of the communities it serves. Thus BRAC can tailor its programmes for maximum effectiveness and relevance.
AI-powered automation has streamlined administrative tasks and processes within BRAC, freeing up valuable time and resources that can be redirected towards frontline services and initiatives. This enhanced operational efficiency allows BRAC to scale its programmes more effectively and reach even more beneficiaries.
Moreover, AI technologies have facilitated innovative approaches to monitoring and evaluation within BRAC. Real-time data collection and analysis enable continuous feedback loops, allowing for ongoing refinement and improvement of programmes based on performance metrics and outcomes which give the company a good competitive edge.
