CARNOUSTIE (Scotland), Jul 23 (AFP): Padraig Harrington's aims and ambitions when he turned pro in 1995 were simply to make a decent living on the European Tour.
Twelve years later the Irishman is the continent's top player, he is inside the world top 10 and now a winner of the British Open at 35.
It's all a far cry from what his expectations were when he decided to give it a stab after completing his degree as an accountant.
