Harun Al Rashid Nizam dies

Harun Al Rashid Nizam, father of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Director and CEO of Beximco Sports Obeid Rashid Nizam, passed away in Dhaka on Thursday morning. He was 80.
The deceased was laid to eternal rest at the city's Banani Graveyard on Friday after his first namaz-e-janaza at Gulshan Azad Mosque and the second janaza at Baridhara Mosque.
He left behind his wife, one son, one daughter, five grandchildren, and a host of admirers and well-wishers.
Mr Harun Al Rashid was born on May 5,1942 in Chattogram. His father Obaidur Rahman Nizam was a prominent businessperson of the country.
