Harun elected EC Chairman of Standard Bank

Harun Rashid Chowdhury, a sponsor director has been elected chairman, executive committee (EC) of Standard Bank Ltd, in the 162nd meeting of the board of directors of the bank recently, said a press release.
Mr Chowdhury is a successful entrepreneur. He is the chairman of Casendra Yarn Dying Industries Ltd and also a director of Trade Linkers Ltd, Imperial Knitting Industries Ltd Unit-1.
He has long and diversified business experience. He is very social and a philanthropic person.
