Harunur Rashid Awards for best papers in ICME introduced at BUET

Prof Muhammad Harunur Rashid, PhD, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of West Florida USA, handed over a cheque for Tk 0.2 million (2 lakh) to Prof Dr Abu Rayhan Md Ali, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, BUET to introduce Dr Muhammad Harunur Rashid Awards for best papers in the International Conference on Mechanical Engineering (ICME), said a press release.
The number and the amount of the awards, which will depend on the fund income, are to be determined by the ICME Technical committee.
Prof Dr AMM Safiullah, Vice-Chancellor, BUET, Prof Dr Dipak Kanti Das of Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof Dr MA Rashid Sarkar, Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, BUET and Md Shahjahan, Registrar, BUET were also present on the occasion.
